PUTTING THE "SERVICE" BACK IN WORSHIP SERVICE
We believe that the church's worship and the church's service should be inextricably tied together.
That means that when we gather, we begin by spending time lifting our voices in praise through music and prayer. Then we open the Bible and hear God's truth proclaimed through the scriptures.
But our worship isn't over until we put that truth into practice.
After all, what's the point of church if lives aren't changed when we gather?
After a short break to refill coffee and stretch our legs, we come back together and dedicate the rest
of our time to serving our local community in some way.
Maybe one week we put together care packets for our neighbors experiencing homelessness. Maybe the next week we partner with a local non-profit to assist in their work. Then maybe the next we host a block party in one of our local neighborhoods.
Our service projects are different week-to-week and they're always community-minded.
We gather on Sunday mornings at 9:00am for worship. Our service activity begins around 10:00am.
Feel free to join us at either time, or better yet, join us for both!
