Meet our Team
todd lovell | PastorI had a wonderful experience growing up in the Southern Baptist Church. However, my study of the Bible led me to become an ordained Methodist minister. I fell in love with the early Methodist's ability to hold together the pursuit of personal holiness and the love for their neighbors. I'm convinced we've overcomplicated church and focused too long on the wrong things. That's why I believe that God is calling us to DO CHURCH DIFFERENTLY!

JOn DOoly | Worship LeaderI was raised in the Free Will Baptist Church, and I've led worship for many denominations and conferences. Since the age of 15, I have played guitar and sang. Music is my passion. I'm currently a performer and singer songwriter in Northwest Arkansas. The Vine needed some help starting out, but the church's call to help the community is what sold the Dooly Family on joining.

Kelsey Cousar | Welcome COORDINATORBeing raised Catholic, I have always had a strong faith. But as I got older, I had a hard time finding a church that encouraged me to live out my faith in a practical way. I have a passion for helping others so when I heard how The Vine was striving to put service and worship together, I jumped in with my whole heart and haven’t looked back. I love the ancient aspects of worship at The Vine, but I also love how we serve our community every week.

Amanda worthy | community COORDINATORAs a child, my grandmother introduced me to church at her small Free Will
Baptist church, where I first came to know Jesus. Since then, I have tried to follow the calling God has put on my life. This call led me into ministry with children and families. I have a heart for children and family discipleship and I love the way The Vine prioritizes families and the intergenerational connection within our church and community. Engaging all ages in worship and service is something I greatly value, and I'm excited to see that value lived out at the Vine of NWA. Contact Amanda | amanda@thevinenwa.church |
OUR Core Values
Community-minded
Most churches are primarily concerned with getting the community into their building. Our primary concern is building our community.
Every week we partner with a local non-profit, business, or community organization to support their work in Centerton, Northwest Arkansas, and beyond. We believe that by working together with like-minded people, we can leverage our resources to make the biggest impact for the Kingdom in our community. |
People-Focused
We are increasingly suspicious that maybe we've been doing church backwards. A lot of churches spend way too much time, energy, and money trying to get people’s time, energy, and money. We want to strip out the unnecessary expectations of church and return to the pure simplicity of what Jesus actually calls us to do:
To love God with all of our heart, soul, life, and strength, and to love our neighbors as ourselves (Matt. 22:36-40). |
Gospel-centered
Jesus tells us that his "yoke is easy" and his "burden is light" (Matt. 11:30). However, churches often make the life of faith a burden or an obligation. But what if there was a different way?
We believe that the simplicity of the Gospel of Jesus Christ brings freedom, love, and purpose. We are unapologetic about the great love that God has for us in Jesus Christ, and you'll find that message at the heart of everything we do! |
spirit-driven
Spirit-Driven is another way of saying that we are passionate about life transformation. Honestly if church isn't a place where you're becoming more and more like Jesus, then what's the point, right?
The Christian Church is built on the testimonies of people just like you who experienced that transformative love of Jesus in a real and powerful way. So when we experience that same transformative love we want to share our story with everyone we meet! |
