The Vine of Northwest Arkansas
is a Christian congregation that affirms the biblical beliefs and holy practices
of the Wesleyan Movement and the ancient Christian faith.
of the Wesleyan Movement and the ancient Christian faith.
John Wesley, the founder of the Methodist movement, famously said, "Our main doctrines, which include all the rest, are three: That of repentance, of faith, and of holiness." While what we believe is greatly important, we think that too many churches spend valuable time squabbling over minor doctrinal issues when they could be serving their neighbors. We believe as the scriptures say, "If your heart be as mine, give me your hand" (2 Kings 10:15).
That means that whether or not you agree with our theological convictions, you are still welcome to journey with us toward a holiness of heart and life. We are firm in our beliefs, but that doesn't mean that you have to be. If you are skeptical, questioning, or doubting, you are always welcome to journey with us. We are all on a spiritual journey of understanding God's goodness, and wherever you are on that journey, we would love to help you take the next step.
