what to expect AT THE VINE

  • What do I wear?
Gatherings at The Vine are informal but if you'd like to wear your "Sunday Best," you're more than welcome to do so. You'll see people wearing jeans or dresses, shorts or khakis, t-shirts, and button-ups. You're encouraged to wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable.
  • What do my kids do?
Kids aren't the church of the future; they're the church of TODAY! Our pre-K kids can gather in our Vine Kids area for fun games, songs, and a Bible lesson. Our older kids who are kindergarten and older are encouraged to participate in our worship and service. We don't mind if they're loud and wiggly...God made them that way! We believe that God would rather hear the sound of your kids in church than anything else we could say or do.
  • What if I don't have a Bible?
At our Give Table, you'll find stickers and cards for you to share with friends and neighbors to invite them to The Vine. Next to the table is a book case with free t-shirts, bibles, and books. Take anything you like from that book shelf! No reason to feel embarrassed about it. People have given generously to make sure you have everything you need to journey with  us.
  • What if I don't know anyone?
We have some good news for you...you won't be alone! We're a new church so everyone is new, and we understand the anxiety that comes with gathering at a new place. But we want to encourage you to be brave enough to take this important step. You'll find smiling faces, coffee and snacks, and a roomful of people just like you who are trying to live a life of worship and service.
  • What can I do to help?
At The Vine, we're all about generosity. Biblical generosity isn't just about money; it's also about giving our time and talents to serve our neighbors. We are always looking for people to serve on our Welcome Team, Worship Team, and Vine Kids Team. The only ability you need to serve at The Vine is availability!
  • What is a Worship|Service?
Our gatherings begin with a worship time that usually lasts about an hour and includes worship songs, Bible teaching, and prayer. But we believe our worship isn't over until our neighbors are served! So after our worship time we'll usually do something to serve our community, like clean up a park, prepare meals, or put together care packets. You're always welcome to join us for both worship and service, but if you can only do one, that's okay too!
